Playing volleyball with the beautiful teenage girls from Pagaden village.

 After I finished watching the Jaipong dance practice at the Subang arts studio, I went home with Mr. Yayan around 4 PM. On the way, we happened to pass by a place where many people were gathering.

We stopped for a moment out of curiosity, which grew even stronger as we looked closer.

It turned out that there was a women’s volleyball match between villages.
The funniest part was that some of the volleyball players were dancing and moving in a style reminiscent of traditional Jaipong dance, blending historical steps with modern shakes.
I was instantly amazed by their beauty and the way they moved.
In short, I took a moment to enjoy their dancing and watch a bit of the volleyball match of the teenage girls from Pagaden village.

A journey across West Java, exploring one city after another

  My Journey Exploring West Java After arriving in Bandung, I decided to explore the small towns around the West Java region. Eventually, I chose to visit the nearby area of Subang, which wasn’t too far from the city center of Bandung, where I was staying. Long story short, I headed straight to Subang. Along the way, I saw many people selling buah ganas —a local fruit that’s both sweet and sour. When I finally arrived in Subang, I wanted to discover something hidden, something that hadn’t been exposed to the public. My search led me to a small village called Pagaden . There, I stayed at the home of one of the village elders, experiencing a simple rural life that few outsiders ever see.
